I bought this Corvette back in 2001 and immediately begin a full strip and frame off restoration. I replaced all of the bushings and ball joints and body mounts. There was no rust on the frame whatsoever. The Corvette propbably has less than 1500 miles on it since the resoration was completed...well partially at least, in 2002 I do not think that this is a original big block car. When the motor was built I bought an edelbrock performer package from summit. This included aluminum heads, aluminum intake, cams, and a 750 carb. I have not had the car tuned or dynoed but it should put down over 500 hp. The bigblock in this car alone has over 6k into it. The car has an Accel electric distributor, works awesome but the tach needs on with a cable hookup or needs to be converted to electronic. Hooker headers with side pipes, and baffles (sounds very nice). Car was painted in hugger orange in 01. Looks very nice, really straight body. All bumpers were dipped then also and still look really nice. Interior is in ok shape, new carpet, seats are good except for one headrest. All glass in awesome shape, no cracks. 15" Torq Thrust, with Dunlops on the back, Nittos on Front. 4 spd Borg Warner Super Duty, Hurst shifter, Centerforce clutch, new driveshaft. Positrac, unsure of the ratio. New Leaf Spring and Shocks, New Coil Springs, grand touring. New Brake Lines. New Calipers and Pads. NO AC, PS, PB, OR HEATER(NEEDS HEATER CORE). NEEDS: Radio, No Windsheild Wipers, Top and Frame, Center Console, Gauge Wrk Headlight Work, new switch and vaccum lines. 60,000 miles. February 21, 2008. |
