Car history: |
1975 Corvette Stingray Convertible VIN#1Z67T5S424317: Medium Red metallic (GM color code #74), Medium Saddle leather interior, date coded beige top, numbers matching L-82 350 V8 with 4-speed manual, PS, PB, positraction rear end, tilt/telescopic wheel, AM/FM stereo radio, factory air conditioning (updated to R-134), factory alloy wheels (incl. spare), deluxe interior, factory hardtop (incl. storage rack and cover), odometer shows 72K miles (actual mileage). This is the final build year for the Stingray convertible. In 2004, the engine, transmission, rear end, brakes, and other mechanicals were rebuilt to correct specifications. This low production 1975 Corvette L-82 convertible is surprisingly fresh and powerful. While it has not competed in NCRS events, this is a beautiful automobile that has been featured in Vette Magazine. Most of the ownership history is available. Using extrapolation methods as defined by the Corvette Black Book, one may estimate that approximately 123 of the 1975 Corvette convertibles were equipped with a combination of L82 350, 4-speed, and factory air conditioning. While this is an extraordinary automobile, prospective buyers are encouraged to arrange for viewing and appropriate inspection prior to bidding, to ensure that the buyer and seller enjoy a mutually satisfactory transaction experience. When viewing the photographs, it is important to note that the driveway slopes to the center for drainage, giving the vehicle an unleveled appearance. Given that this Corvette is advertised locally in Southern California and in collector car periodicals, the seller reserves the right to terminate the Ebay listing prior to auction close, should an appropriate offer result from other marketing resources. No warranty is expressed or implied.
